SUBJECT: Conveyance of Surplus Real Property
Temporary Construction Easement

The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
Contra Costa County acquired certain temporary real property rights from David
Claeys and Ruth T. Claeys, as part of the Grant Deed recorded on October 7, 1993, in
Book 19026 at page 608 described in Exhibit"A"attached hereto, for road purposes. Said
temporary property right is DETERMINED to be surplus and no longer necessary for
County or other public purposes and its estimated value does not exceed $10,000.00.
This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the conveyance of said property
to David Claeys and Ruth T. Claeys, pursuant to Government Code Section 25526.5 and
the Board Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a quitclaim deed on behalf of the
County.
The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said Quitclaim Deed to be
delivered to the grantee.

TEMPORARY CONSTRICTION EASEMENT
A portion of the Rancho EI Pinole, Contra Costa County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the northerly terminus of that certain course shown as north 201,46'12"west 730.01 feet
as described in the deed to Contra Costa County recorded January 5, 1960 in Book 3528 of Official
Records at page 218; thence from said Point of Beginning south 20°46'12" east 20.00 feet; thence
south 89013'48"west 25.00 feet; thence north 20°46'12"west 20.00 feet to a tangent curve, concave
to the south, having a radius of 25.00 feet; thence northwesterly, westerly and southwesterly along
said curve, through a central angle of 139°10'12", an arc distance of 60.72 feet to a reverse curve,
concave to the northwest, having a radius of 924.94 feet, to which a radial bears north 69°56'29"
west; thence southwesterly along said curve, through a central angle of 11°25'54" an arc distance
of 184.54 feet; thence non-tangent to said curve north 37047'04"west 26.78 feet to a non-tangent
curve, concave to the northwest, having a radius of 899.94 feet, to which a radial bears north
59°06'42"west; thence northeasterly along said curve, through a central angle of 10049'42", an arc
distance of 170.08 feet to a reverse curve, concave to the south, having a radius of 50.00 feet;
thence northeasterly, easterly and southeasterly along said curve, through a central angle of
139010'12", an arc distance of 121.45 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Containing an area of 7,210 square feet (0.166 acres) of land more or less.
Bearings and distances are based on the California Coordinate System Zone 3 (C.C.S. 27). To
convert to ground distances multiply distances shown by 1.0000688.

QUITCLAIM DEED
For a valuable Consideration, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State of California,
does hereby remise, release and forever quitclaim to David Claeys, and Huth T. Claeys,
Trustee of the Ruth T Claeys Living Trust, under Agreement dated September 29, 1992, any
and all interest of Grantor herein, in and to that certain Temporary Construction Easement
shown as Exhibit "A" Temporary Construction Easement attached to Grant Deed recorded
October 7, 1993 as instrument No. 93-280945, in Book 19026, page 608, Official Records of
Contra Costa County affecting the real property in an unincorporated area of the County of
Contra Costa, State of California, described as follows:
