OF HONORING RESOLUTION NO. 98115 THE LATE JEANNE WILL FOR HER COMMITMENT AND DEDICATION TO MARTINEZ AND THE ENVIRONMENT WHEREAS, Jeanne Will was a longtime advocate of the Martinez environment through her efforts on the Martinez Regional land Trust, The Friends of the Franklin Hills and Friends of Alhambra Creek. She worked diligently at these efforts for the last two decades; and WHEREAS,Jeanne Will worked on behalf of the Martinez Library as a Friend of the Martinez Library for the past 15 years, where she volunteered in all aspects of the library's operation; and WHEREAS, Jeanne Will was recognized by the City of Martinez for her commitment to the betterment of the city by being recognized in 1996 with the Lifetime Achievement Award; and WHEREAS, Jeanne Will lived in Martinez for the past 23 years and is survived by her children, Carolyn Todd, Richard and Donald Will and her three grandchildren. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County does hereby honor and commend MAR Y IFA NNEWILL For her dedication, .love and energy towards the City of Martinez, the environment and the lihrarv, PASSED by vote of the Board of Supervisors members present on this 20"day of January, 1998.
