THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
OF
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
SUBJECT: Extending a Cable RESOLUTION NO. 97/399
Television License to Ponderosa Cable Systems, Ltd.
WHEREAS on July 6, 1982, the Board granted a non-exclusive license to
Ponderosa Cable Systems, Ltd. to construct, operate and maintain a community
antenna television system within a certain area of Contra Costa County ("County")
in accordance with Division 58 of the County Ordinance Code;
WHEREAS the above described license expires on August 23, 1997;
WHEREAS Ponderosa Cable Systems, Ltd. desires to renew its license;
WHEREAS the County and Ponderosa desire to extend the above-described
license to facilitate completion and review of the renewal applications;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the above-described license to
Ponderosa Cable Systems, Ltd. is extended to and including January 31, 9998.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this extension is granted contingent on
Ponderosa's compliance with the Cable Television Ordinance: (Ord. No. 93-55) and
in accordance with all the consistent terms and conditions specified on the current
license award resolution.
