WHEREAS Resources for Community Development is a nonprofit entity directed to enter into
contracts,review,approve and release checks for payment,and conduct business in a
professional and efficient manner,by its Board of Directors;and
WHEREAS the adaption of this resolution is for the purpose of clarifying the process for
executing contracts,approving payment voucher/checks and documents minted to conducting the
business of the Corporation;and
WHEREAS Jack D.Gardner has been appointed Executive Director for Resources for
Community Development effective January 1, 1"6;and
WHEREAS Jack D.Gardner will assume the responsibilities held by Dan Sawislak,the
preceding Interim Executive Director,and Michael R.De Vos,the preceding Executive Director
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of RCD authorizes Mr.
Gardner to execute contracts,review and approve and execute payment voucher/checks,
documents and conduct business on behalf of Resources for Community Development,
performing those functions previously authorized by the Board of Directors,as assigned to the
position of Executive Director previously held by Dan Sawislak and Michael R.De Vos.

REAL PROPERTY in unincorporated territory in the County of Contra Costa, State of California,
described as follows:
A PORTION of that certain parcel of land described in the deed from WILLIAM C.WURSCHMIDT and
TONI M.WURSCHMIDT to CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES, INC,recorded April 29,
1988 in Book 14303 at Page 134, at seq.,Official Records of Contra Costa County,described as
follows:
BEGINNING at the northwestern corner of that certain parcel of land described as"PARCEL ONE" in
'EXHIBIT'A"' in the OFFER OF DEDICATION FOR ROADWAY PURPOSES,from VERN AND AGEE
SUTTON to CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, recorded March 21, 1979, in Book 9271 at Page 896, at. seq,
Official Records of Contra Costa County, said corner being a point on the general southern line of
the first above mentioned parcel of land (14303 O.R. 130),and said corner being also the northern
terminus of the course described in said OFFER OF DEDICATION as"south 2805235"east
45.35 feet', running thence along the direct prolongation northwesterly of last said course,
North 28°52'35"West 139.17 feet to an intersection with the northern line of the first above
mentioned parcel land (14303 O.R. 130);thence along last said line North 7706939" East 12.02 feet to
an intersection with the southwestern line of Aspen Drive,formerly Old County Road,40 feet in
width; running thence along last said line South 29°40'21" East 139.55 feet to an intersection with
the said general southern line; thence along last said line South 77°06'39"West 13.99 feet to the
point of beginning.
Containing 1,736 square feet, more or less.
Grantee relinquishes the right of access across the southerly 22.00 feet and across the northerly
92.00 feet of the southwestern line of the hereinabove described parcel of land.
