ARTICLE 11 The object of this organization shall be.To ensure and support better lire and Rescue services. ARTICLE 111 Membership in this organization shall be open to persons 18 yrs of age or over and Cit=s'of The United States.We have no restrictions on membership based on race,color, creed,set,or national origin. ARTICLE V111 The President and Secretary shall all legal documents duly approved by the Oakley Knightsen Firefighter's Association but will not be individually responsible in any capacity other than as officers of the Oakley/Knightsen Firefighter's Association. BAY-LAWS ARTICLE 1 Sec 1- The regular meeting of the Oakley/Knightsen Firefighter's Association. Shall be held on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Sec. 2- Special membership meetings may be called by the President to conduct any business requiring immediate attention. Sec. 3- An members of the association shall receive notice of the place and time of all special meetings. ARTICLE 11 ELECTION TO MEMBERSHIP Sec 1- Applications for membership shall be presented in writing to the Oakley/Knightsen Firefighter's Association officers. Sec. 2- New members shall be approved by the Oakley/Knightsen Firefighter's Association off'icer's. Sec. 3- Expulsion of a member shall be made for conduct undignified and unbecoming a Mrerighter or for unobservance of the Oakley/Knightsen Firefighter's Association policies. Sec. 4- Konary membership shall be conferred upon members who have continued consecutive membership in the Oakley/Knightsen Firefighter's Association. ARTICLE 111 DUTIES OF OFFICERS Sec. 1- President The President shall be required to preside over all meetings of the association.The President shall have the power to appoint all and any committees, to the functions of the Oakley/Knightsen l:"iirerighter's Association.The President shall be mired to enforce the constitution and by-laws and to order accordingly.Robert's Rules of order shall be used to establish association policies.The President shall with the Secretary co-sign all legal documents.
