HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01011997 - 1997-195 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS CONTRA COSTA COUNTY,CALIFORNIA Adopted this Resolution on April 22, 1997, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Rogers, Uilkema, Gerber$ Canciamilla, DeSaulnier NOES: None ASSENT: None RESOLUTION NO, 971195 (Streets and Highways Code §950.4) �IIIIIfIr1��iIM�I�W�OXI/iYI�III��YIIIrM SUBJECT: Conveyance of Surplus Real Property Highland Road Bridge Replacement Project No. 0662-6R4084 Federal Project No. BRLO-5928 (016) San Ramon Area The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT. Contra Costa County acquired certain real property on August 7, 1876 and August 25, 1890, in the San Ramon area, described in Exhibit"A" attached hereto, for highway purposes. Said property is DETERMINED to be surplus and no longer necessary for County highway purposes. By its action on November 19, 1996, the Board of Supervisors approved the exchange of said property for property of equal value which was required for the replacement of the Highland Road Bridge. Therefore, pursuant to Streets and Highways Code Section 960A, this Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the conveyance of said surplus property, and AUTHORIZES the Board Chair to execute a Quitclaim Deed to Jorgen and Kristine Clausen on behalf of the County. The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said Quitclaim Deed to be delivered to the Grantees. On March 11, 1997, by Resolution No. 97/114 the Board DETERMINED that the project is exempt from the requirements of the Califomia Environmental Quality Act as a Class 12 Categorical Exemption, At the Board's direction 0 Notice of Exemption was filed and the $25.00 handling fee was paid to the County Clerk.
