Whereas, the Board on December 17 , 1996 adopted Resolution 96/552
implementing salary adjustments for certain data processing classes
upon recommendation of Ralph Anderson, Consultant; AND
Whereas, the Board of Supervisors on February 4, 1997 adopted
Resolution 97/57 implementing pay equity adjustments for certain
job classifications; AND
Whereas, the Executive Officer of the Coordinated Trial Courts of
Contra Costa County has requested that certain exempt clerical
classes in the Superior Court which are tied to merit system
clerical classes and certain data processing classes in the
Municipal Court which are linked to merit system information
technology classes be restored to proper salary relationship with
their counterpart classes affected by the aforementioned actions;
NOW THEREFORE,
The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors in its capacity as
governing Board of the County of Contra Costa, and all Districts of
which it is the ex-officio governing Board, RESOLVES THAT:
1 . Effective October 1, 1996 the classes of Court Services
Clerk IV (JWX6 ) and Court Services Clerk IV - Technican
( 2BT2) shall be reallocated to salary schedule/level
XB-1724 ($2425 - $3097 )
2 . Effective December 1, 1996 the classes of Municipal Court
Computer Systems Technician (LAS1 ) and Superior Court
Computer Systems Technician (2BS6 ) shall be reallocated
to salary schedule/level C5-1853 ($2897 - $3521 )
