RA 96-1 SUBJECT: Objecting to the Sale of Tax Defaulted ) Properties,Requesting Deletion From Sealed ) Bid and Public Auction Sales Lists, and ) Requesting Transfer to the Contra Costa County ) Redevelopment Agency Bay Point Redevelopment) Project Area. ) WHEREAS,the Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency has received notice from the Tax Collector of Contra Costa County of the sale of tax defaulted properties located in the Bay Point Redevelopment Project Area; and WHEREAS,the property in question is specifically described as Assessors's Parcel No. 096-020-081; and WHEREAS,in furtherance of the objectives and purposes of the Redevelopment Agency,the Agency has determined that the property is vacant and required for future Redevelopment purposes; and WHEREAS,the public need and necessity require transfer,in fee,at the minimum bid price plus costs,by the Tax Collector to the Redevelopment Agency in accordance with Revenue and Taxation Code,Chapter 8. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Redevelopment Agency,that the Agency Chair is hereby authorized and directed to expend the funds and effect the transfer for Agency purposes. The Redevelopment Agency APPROVES the AGREEMENT to Purchase Tax-Defaulted Property between the State of California and the Redevelopment Agency and AUTHORIZES the Deputy Director-Redevelopment to execute the Agreement. I hereby certify that this is a true and correct copy of an action taken and entered on the Minutes of the Redevelopment Agency on this date shown.
