No. 94/_512 Res. 92/107 Re Holidays ) In the interest of operational efficiency, it has been the policy of the County to observe legal holidays on a uniform basis for both represented employees whose terms and conditions of employment are codified in memoranda of understanding and unrepresented employees whose terms and conditions of employment, including holidays, are enumerated in Res. 92/107. All memoranda of understanding provide that all represented employees will observe 10 specific holidays and "such other days as the Board of Supervisors may by Resolution designate as holidays." In addition to the foregoing language, Res. 92/107 additionally contains in paragraph 5, Section ;'k. Holidays, Part IV. Leaves and Pay for Time Not Worked," the following language; "If amendments to Government Code Section .6700 and/or 6701 become effective to delete any of the above holidays or to add new holidays, such amendments shall be effective for employees whose classifications are set forth in Exhibit A" (i.e. all unrepresented and management employees). Therefore, in order to unify the Board's authority to designate holidays for all employees, Res. 92/107 is amended to delete paragraph 5, in Section A of Part IV noted above. 1 hereby certify that this is a true and correct Copy of an action taken and entered on the minutes of the Board of Supe o�the date shown.
