HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01011993 - 1993-569 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Resolution on September 28, 1993, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers, Smith, Bishop, McPeak and Torlakson NOES: None ABSENT: None RESOLUTION NO. 93/ 569 (Government Code § 25350) SUBJECT: Consummate Purchase and Accept Grant Deed for Contra Costa County - Byron Airport A.P.N. 001-011-007 (Wickline) 4875-4045-ACQ - 5X FAA AIP Project #3-06-0008-07 Byron Area The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County, RESOLVES THAT. This Board on August 17, 1995, passed Resolution of Intention filo. 93/506 and Notice fixing September 28, 1993, at 9:00 A.M. in its Chambers, County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California, as the time and place where it would meet to consummate the purchase of the real property described therein from Roy and J. Irene' Wickiine, said property being required for airport purposes. Said Resolution was duly published in the Contra Costa Times in compliance with Govt. Code Section 6063. The Board hereby consummates said purchase and approves the Purchase Agreement dated September 28, 1993, between Royand J. Irene Wickiine and the County, and authorizes the Public Works Director to sign the Purchase Agreement on behalf of the County. The property being acquired consists of 11 acres of'land and house located at 6455 Armstrong Road, Byron, California. The County Auditor-Controller is hereby DIRECTED to issue a check in favor of Chicago Title Insurance Company, 500 Ygnacio Valley Road, Suite 200, Walnut Creek, California' 94596, Escrow No. 75506, for $355,000.00 for said property for payment to Grantors, upon their conveying to the County a Deed therefor.
