AYES: Supervisors Powers, Smith, Bishop, McPeak and Torlakson NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None RESOLUTION NO. 93/ L33 Government Code § 25526.6 SUBJECT: Conveyance of Easement to City of Lafayette Project No. 0662-6U4325 Lafayette Area The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: Contra Costa County acquired certain real property by deed recorded on July 7, 1961, in Book 3904 at page 319, in Lafayette, for road'purposes. The City of Lafayette has requested an easement over a portion of said property, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for storm drain purposes. This Board FINDS that the conveyance of such easement is in the public interest and will not substantially conflict or interfere with the County's use of the property. This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the conveyance of an easement to the City of Lafayette, over the property described in Exhibit 'A" attached hereto, pursuant to Government Code Section 25526.6 and the Board Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a Grant of Easement on behalf of the County. The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said Easement to be delivered to the grantee 'together with a copy of this Resolution. The Board hereby FINDS that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment, and DETERMINES that the project is exempt from the requirements of the California'Environmental Quality Act as a Class 12 Categorical Exemption under County Guidelines and Section 15312 of the State CEQA`Guidelines, and DIRECTS the Director of Community 'Development to file a Notice of Exemption with the County 'Clerk and DIRECTS the Public Works Director to arrange for payment:of the $25.010 handling fee to the County Clerk for filing of the Notice of Exemption. This activity has been found to conform to the General Plan of the City of Lafayette.
