HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01011993 - 1993-306 M 1f 31 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Resolution on June' 8, 1393 , by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers, Smith, Bishop, McPeak and Torla:kson NOES None ABSENT: None RESOLUTION NO. 93Z 306 (Gov. Code 25526.6) SUBJECT Conveyance of a Conservation Easement Grant at Contra Costa County-Byron Airport to the State of California, Department of Fish and Game:. The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County 'RESOLVES THAT: Contra Costa County is the owner in fee simple of certain real property located in Byron, Cal:ifornia,. which was acquired for the development of the Contra Costa County-Byron Airport. As a condition of approval for the Byron Airport, Contra Costa County and the California Department of Fish and Game entered into an Endangered Species Management Agreement` which requires the establishment of a habitat for the San Joaquin' Kit Fox. The conveyance of this Conservation Easement Grant is required to preserve and maintain the Kit Fox Habitat Management Lands. This :Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the conveyance of a Conservation .Easement Grant to the State of California, Department of Fish and Game, over the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, pursuant to Government Code Section 25526.6, and the Beard Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute said Conservation Easement Grant on behalf of the County. The Airport Manager is DIRECTED to cause said conservation Easement Grant to be delivered to the grantee.
