IN THE KATTER OF 'COIDENDING RESOLUTION NO.-93/190
The Many Accomplishments of
The Contra Costa Component of
the Alameda/Contra Costa HIV Planning Council
on behalf of Contra Costans with HIV
WHEREAS, Bill Bond, Genoveva Calloway, John Camp, Deborah
Card;, Jan Diamond, Amy Eggers, FrancesGreene, Michele Jackson,
Alan Johnson, Rusty Keilch, Art McDermott, Jim' Schexnayder '
Robert Tsu, Emmett Velten and the late Christopher ;Romak have
demonstrated a strong' commitment of time and work in the area of
providing quality care for people 'with' HIV'' in our county; and
WHEREAS, they have served on the Alameda/Contra Costa 'HIV
Planning Council and provided leadership on the Contra 'Costa
HIV/AIDS' Consortium; and
3��itL'�LS they have facilitated positive working
relationships with community-based, private and public agencies
serving people with HIV, and
WHEREAS, they have developed positive working relationships
with their counterparts in Alameda County; and
WHEREAS, they have successfully applied for funding from
Title I of the Ryan White CARE Act which has resulted in the
granting of over $1.2 million to our county for HIV care
services;
NOW, THEREFORE# LET IT BE RESOLVED THAT THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA' COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA. in recognition of
the significant accomplishments of Bill Bond, Genoveva Calloway,
John Camp, Deborah Card, Jan Diamond, Amy Eggers, Frances Greene,
Michele Jackson, Alan Johnson, Rusty Keilch, Art McDermott, Jim
Sehexnayder, Robert Tsu, Emmett Velten' and' the 'late Christopher
Lomak thanks the 'Planning' Council for its successful efforts on
behalf of Contra >'Costans with 'HIV.
PASSED by unanimous vote of the Board Members present on
this 27th day of April 1993.
