Concord TV Cable License j RESOLUTION NO 93/166
Subject: Extension of Cable Television LicenseGranted to
Concord TV Cable
WHEREAS' on August 16, 1966, the Board granted a nonexclusive
license to Western Communications, Inc. to construct, operate and
maintain a community antenna: television system within a certain
area of Contra Costs County ( "County")` in accordance with Division
58 of the County Ordinance Code;
WHEREAS Western Communications, Inc. subsequently' changed the
names of its company to Concord TV Cable and this change was duly
acknowledged by the Board on 'April 25 1967;
WHEREAS the above-described license expires on March 31, 199°3;
WHEREAS' Concord TV Cable desires to renew its license;
WHEREAS County is in the process of preparing and considering
amendments to its Cable Television Ordinance (Division 58` of the
County Ordinance Code) ;
WHEREAS' it is anticipated that the proposed amendments will
not be completed prior to March 31, 1993; "and
WHEREAS the County and Concord TV Cable desire to extend the
above-described 'license to facilitate completion of the proposed
amendments;
NOW, THEREFORE", BE IT RESOLVED that the above-described
license to Concord TV Cable is extended to June 30`, 1993.` '
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this extension' is granted upon the
same terms and conditions, and subject to the same limitations,
presently applicable to the license, including all provisions: of
Division 58 of the County Ordinance Code.
