(S.& H.C. § 8531, 8730, 8731, 8732 & 8733) SUBJECT: Making Amended Assessment for Division of Parcels in Assessment District No. 1991-3 (Refunding San Pablo Creek Improvements A.D.No. 1982-2), SanPablo Area, and Setting a Public Hearing Thereon. NOTICE'4OF MAKING OF AMENDED ASSESSMENT (Parcel(s) 408-140-012) The Board of::Supervisors'of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: Its Resolution of Intention No. 91/792, on December 10, 1991, providing for the establishment of the above noted Assessment District, and pursuant thereto an reassessment and'diagram were made and filed with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors and confirmed by this Board and recorded in the office of the Public Works Director of this County.(Road Commissioner-Surveyor). The above noted parcels of land in this District upon which there are unpaid assessments against which bonds have been issued under the improvement Bond Act of 1915, have been divided so that they no longer conform to the original parcel boundaries as shown on said assessment. The Public Works Director, pursuant to an Order of this Board, has prepared and filed with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors,County Administration Building, Martinez, three copies of a report and amended assessment and diagram of the lots and parcels so divided. The report and amended assessment provides that the unpaid installments of said original assessments were segregated and apportioned in accordance with the benefits of the several parts of each original lot or parcel and the total amount of the assessment of the several parts of each original lot or parcel is equal to the unpaid assessments upon said original lot or parcel of land. The Public Works Director has recommended that no casts or fees making this apportionment be levied or collected pursuant to 'Streets and highways Code` Section 8730 and Resolution No90/61.' Further,' the Public Works Director has notified the owner of the original parcel assessed of the order of the Board fixing the costs and fees of the apportionment. The owners name was obtained from the last equalized roll for taxes (or was known to the Public Works Director). At 9:00 AM on Tuesday, April 6, 1993, in the Chambers of the Board' of Supervisors, County Administration Building,Martinez,California, the Board will conduct a public hearing upon the report and amended assessment and shall confirm or modify it. At the hearing all persons interested or in the original assessment, or in the land affected thereby or in the bunds secured thereby, may appear' and protest against the amended assessment. The Clerk of this Board is hereby directed to give notice of said amended assessments by publishing this notice twice in West CountLTimes,,a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in this County.
