tion,will
orporation,,will be traveling to he south of France during a portion of the:meth of June, 1992,

exchange established by Contra Costa County through its sister-county relationship with The Var,Trance;
WHEREAS,the county promotes establishing joint business ventures with France;
WHEREAS,they will be traveling to the City of Toulon,the capital of The Var,where they hope to
meet with Mr.Maurice Arrecks,President of the General C.ounselof."The Var,GuyRamage,President ofThe
Var Chamber of Commerce, Jean-Pierre Costamagna, President of Club Mistral; Yann Staracai, General
manager of Echavar;and Jean-Jacques Vitrac,our sister-county liaison;
WHEREAS,Mr.Kallam and Mr. Neese hopes to have a journalisticexchange-and a discussion of
establishing a women's basketball exchange program;
NOW,TfSREFO ,SE'ITRESOLVED that the Beard of Supervisors of Contra Costa County
hereby designates Clay Kallam and Gerald Neece to carry with them when they travel to France the county's
warmest and heardest greetings to Maurice Arreckx,Guy Ramage,Jean-Pierre Costamap,.4 Yann Staraci,
Jean-Jacques Vitrac and all the citizens of our sister-county of'The Var,Trance.
PASSED by unanimous vote of the Board members present on this 19th day of May, 1992.
