HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01011992 - 1992-318 S,3 IN TM BOARD OF -SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COLYMY, STME OF CALIFORNIA In cognition of Chris and Bob Adams) Fiftieth wedding Anniversary, Resolution No. 92/318 Friday, Mair 115, `1992' 18AS Chris and Bob will be celebrating. their fiftieth wedding anniversary with their children Elena, Bob, Doug, Jean and Gail, and their grandchildren Joseph, Delara, Jeremy, Michelle, Jia, Sara. and Jennifer; ' and SEAS there will be a service at St'. Anselm;s Episcopal Church in Lafayette; and # BASBob and 'Chris moved to Lafayette in 1949 when Bob was offered a ,fob with Chevron. A career' decision that utilized his training from Cal 'leech and ended'only upon his later retirement; and BAS' Chris has served Contra Costa County with years of distinguished service in a variety of civic roles. She has served on and been chair: of the 8uman Services Advisory Mumission, 'the alcohol Advisory Board, the Drug Abuse Advisory Board, the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention omission and is currently the Chair of the Correctional and Detention 'Services Advisory Commission. She is past foreman of the County Grand Jury. She served on the Lafayette Board of Education and is currently on the City of Lafayette Senior services Cession; and �R`AS, most importantly, Chris has served with dignity,' humor, compassion and perseverance earning the respect and loveof those she has served and worked with over these many Yea . NOW BE IT IMSOUVED that the Hoard of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa, California, hereby CONMATULATIt Chris and Bob Adams on their Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary and EXTENDS to them its best wishes for many more years of happiness. .PASSED and ADOPT this twelfth day of May, 1992, by unanimous vete of the Board meters present.
