THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA

The unrepresented Superior Court Services Clerk series was created at salary parity
with equivalent classes in the`,,Clerk deep class and is eligible for word processing
and video display terminal differentials;
Salaries for unrepresented employees and for clerical employees represented by
AFSCME Local 2700'were adjusted for 1991-1993 by the Board on March 3 1992' via
Resolutions 92/107 and 92/106 respectively. Resolution 92/106 contained provision
for buyout of the word processing and VDT differentials from represented clerical
employees;
Errors have been made in calculation and adaption of current salary levels and
retroactive lump sum payments for classes in the Superior Court Services Clerk
series and authority for word processing and VDT buyout from the employees which
is equivalent to that negotiated with AFSCME represented clerical employees is
necessary; NOW THEREFORE,
ORE
The Board of Supervisors of 'Contra Costa County RESOLVES that the following
actions are authorized on the dates indicated to restore appropriate salary levels for
classes in the unrepresented Superior Court Services Clerk series
1. Effective April 1, 1992 the $50 word processing and $40 video display terminal
differentials applicable to classes in the Superior Court Services Clerk series
ncludinWX4, JWXS, JWX6 and 2BT4, are eliminated and in return the County
will add 5o to the respective salary ranges computed at the range midpoint in the
same manner as was done for the Clerk deep class.
2. Effective on the dates indicated', the salaries of these classes are adjusted as
follows
