HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01011992 - 1992-176 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA 1992 Adopted this Order on March 24, by the following votes AYES: Supervisors Powers, Fanden, Schroder, Torlakson, McPeak NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None RESOLUTION NO. 92/ 176 SUBJECT: app l kation For Funds for the Carr Criminal Prosecution Project, Office of the district Attorney WHEREAS the County of Contra Costa :desires to undertake a certain project designated Career Criminal Prosecution Emit, to be funded, in part, from funds made available through the CareerCriminal Prosecution Program administered' by the Office of Criminal Justice Planning (hereinafter referred to as OCJP)., NOWT T EEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the District Attorney of Contra Costa :County is authorized, on its behalf, to 'submit the attached proposal to OCJP and is authorized to execute, on behalf of the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County, the attached Grant 'Award Agreement, including any extensions or amendments 'thereof BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the applicant agrees to provide $19,152 in ,funds required for said project (including any amendment thereof) under the Program and the funding terms and conditions of OCJP, and that the cash match will be appropriated as required. IT I I S AGREED that any liability arising out of the performance of this Grant Award Agreement, including civil court actions for damages, shall be the responsibility of the !grant recipient and the authorizing agency. The State of California and OCJP' disclaim any responsibility for any such liability, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received hereunder shall not be used to supplant expenditures controlled by this body.
