HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 12171991 - 91-837 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on December 17 , 1991 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Fanden, McPeak, Schroder, Torlakson, Powers NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None SUBJECT: Resolution Authorizing ) Investment of County Workers ' ) Compensation Self-insurance ) RESOLUTION NO. 91/ 837 Actuarial Confidence Level ) Account (CWCSIACLA) Monies in ) Local Agency Investment Fund ) WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 730 of the Statutes of 1976, Section 16429. 1, was added to the California Government Code to create a Local Agency Investment Fund in the State Treasury for the deposit of money of local agencies for purposes of investment by the State Treasurer; and WHEREAS, the Board -of Supervisors does hereby find that the deposit and withdrawal of money in the Local Agency Investment Fund in accordance with the provisions of Section 16429. 1 of the Government Code for the purposes of investment as stated therein as in the best interest of the County of Contra Costa. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board. of Supervisors does hereby authorize the deposit and withdrawal of County Workers ' Compensation Self-insurance Actuarial Confidence Level Account monies in the Local Agency Investment Fund in the State Treasury in accordance with the provisions of Section 16429. 1 of the Government Code for the purposes of investment as stated therein. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following County officers or their successors in office shall be authorized to order the deposit or withdrawal of monies in the Local Agency Investment Fund: Alfred P. Lomeli, Treasurer Tax Collector, David Dezell, Chief Investment Officer, Clarissa, Javier, Investment Officer, Beverly Rellar, Accountant.
