HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 12171991 - 91-829 A IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of Extending the ) Century Communications Corporation ) RESOLUTION NO. 91/829 License ) Subject: Extension of Cable Television License Granted to Century Communications Corporation. WHEREAS on December 19, " 1968, the Board granted a nonexclusive license to Century Communications Corporation to construct, operate and maintain a community antenna television system within a certain area of Contra Costa County ( "County" ) in accordance with Division 58 of the County Ordinance Code; WHEREAS the above-described license expires on December 31, 1991; WHEREAS Century Communications Corporation desires to renew its license; WHEREAS County is in the process of preparing and considering amendments to its Cable Television Ordinance (Division 58 of the County Ordinance Code) ; WHEREAS it is anticipated that the proposed amendments will . not be completed prior to December 31, 1991; and WHEREAS the County and Century Communications Corporation desire to extend the above-described license to facilitate completion of the proposed amendments; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the above-described license to Century Communications Corporation is extended to April 30, 1992 . BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this extension is granted upon the same terms and conditions, and subject to the same limitations, presently applicable to the license, including all provisions of Division 58 of the County Ordinance Code.
