HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 12051989 - 89-759 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of Honoring ) JUNE BULMAN for her service ) RESOLUTION NO. 89/759 to the City of Concord ) WHEREAS, for the last 13 years June Bulman has served on the Concord City Council. She is a valued citizen committed to the preservation of the heritage of the City of Concord. WHEREAS, serving as the first woman mayor from 1980 to 1982, June strove to preserve the historical buildings in Concord. She also had a strong hand in the redevelopment of the downtown area. WHEREAS, since 1980 June has served on the County's Solid Waste Commission which is implementing a full-scale, Countywide recycling program. She also has been a member of the Hazardous Materials Commission for the past two years and is presently the Chairwoman of the Household Hazardous Waste Committee. She has made invaluable contributions to improving solid waste management in Contra Costa. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors honors JUNE BULMAN for her many years of service to the City of Concord and wishes her well in all her future endeavors.
