HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 12061988 - 88-741 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of Designating ) January 7, 1989, as ) RESOLUTION NO. 88/741 GINNY CRAWFORD DAY in Contra ) Costa County ) Since January, 1978, Ginny Crawford has served Conra Costa County as Administrative Aide to Supervisor Sunne Wright McPeak. She has brought to Supervisor McPeakkIs office the skills of an educator, counselor and business person and established a standard for effective and sensitive response to constituent needs. . As a responsible and energetic citizen, she represents Contra Costa County on the Concord Convention and Visitors Bureau and as a compassionate and intelligent citizen she served as a co-chair of the National Women' s Political Caucus of Contra Costa County. She also coordinated the creation of the 50-Year Time Capsule in the county. Fiercely devoted to the concept of a county government that exists for the good of its citizens, Ginny Crawford has brought a new meaning to the term "constituent assistance, " and her associates and fellow citizens are the beneficiaries of that devotion. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors that Ginny Crawford be honored and recognized for her contribution to the integrity and distinction of public service in Contra Costa County and that January 7, 1989, be designated as GINNY CRAWFORD DAY in Contra Costa County.
