IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of Approving Submission of ) a Grant Agreement Between East Bay ) Conservation Corps and State Department ) RESOLUTION NO. 88/ 760 of Conservation Under the California ) Beverage Container Recycling and Litter ) Reduction Act ) WFKREAS the Legislature of the State of California has enacted the California Beverage Container Recycling and Litter Reduction Act which provides funds to certain entities for litter abatement and recycling activities; and WHEREAS the Division of Recycling has been delegated the responsibility for the administration of the program, setting up necessary procedures governing the submission of proposals by various organizations and local agencies under the program; and WHEREAS said procedures established by the Division of Recycling require a proposer to certify by resolution local approval to submit a proposal prior to submission of said proposal to the State; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA does hereby: 1. Endorses the submission of a grant proposal, by the East Bay Conservation Corps, for funding uhder the Division of Recycling Litter Abatement and Recycling Activities Contracts Program; and 2 . Certifies that the County understands the general provisions of the grant proposal; and 3 . Fully supports the projects within said proposal; and 4 . Certifies that the proposed projects will not replace or duplicate any previous or existing County budgeted projects. PASSED by unanimous vote of the Board Members present on this 13th day of December, 1988. I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution entered on the minutes of said County Board of Supervisors on the date aforementioned.
