HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 09301986 - 86-581 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on September 30, 1986 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Fanden, Schroder, McPeak, Torlakson & Powers NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None RESOLUTION NO. 86/581 SUBJECT: Approval of the Final Map and Subdivision Agreements for Subdivision 6700, Discovery Bay Area. The following documents were presented for Board approval this date: The Final Map of Subdivision 6700, property located in the Discovery Bay area, said map having been certified by the proper officials; Two Subdivision Agreements for two separate construction phases , with New Discovery Incorporated, subdivider, whereby said subdivider agrees to complete all improvements as. required in said Subdivision Agreements within one year from the date of said agreements; Said documents were accompanied by: I . Security to guarantee the completion of road and drainage improvements as required by Title 9 of the County Ordinance Code, as follows: A. Cash deposit (Auditor's Deposit Permit No. 113957, dated September 18, 1986) in the amount of $1,145 made by Hofmann Company for phase I improvements. B. Cash deposit (Auditor' s Deposit Permit No. 113957, dated September 18, 1986) in the amount of $4,280 made by Hofmann Company for phase II improvements. C. Additional security in the form of a corporate surety bond dated September 16, 1986, and issued by The American Insurance Company (Bond No. SCR 6441004) with New Discovery Incorporated as principal , in the amount of $113,355 for faithful performance and $57,250 for labor and materials for phase I improvements. D. Additional security in the form of a corporate surety bond dated September 16, 1986, and issued by The American Insurance Company (Bond No. SCR 6441005) with New Discovery, Incorporated as principal , in the amount of $423,720 for faithful performance and $214,000 for labor and materials for phase II improvements. II . Letter from the County Tax Collector stating that there are no unpaid County taxes heretofore levied on the property included in said map and that the 1985-86 tax lien has been paid in full and the 1986-87 tax lien, which became a lien on the first day of March, 1986, is estimated to be $27,850; III . Security to guarantee the payment of taxes as required by Title 9 of the County Ordinance Code in the form of a surety bond, No. SMR 6441003, issued by The American Insurance Company with New Discovery, Incorporated as principal , in the amount of $27 ,850 quaranteeing the payment of the estimated tax; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that' said subdivision, together with the provisions for its design and improvement, is DETERMINED to be consistent with the County' s general and specific plans; RESOLUTION NO. 86/581 Page 2 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Final Map is APPROVED and this Board does not accept or reject on behalf of the public any of the streets, paths, or easements shown thereon as dedicated to public use.
