Adopted this Order of December 9, 1986, by the following vote:

SUBJECT: Approving Plans and Specifications
for Building and Site Improvements
at 255 Glacier Drive for Public
Works Department,
Martinez Area
Budget Line No. 4425-4241
Authorization No. WH241B
WHEREAS Plans and Specifications for Building and Site Improvements at 255
Glacier Drive for Public Works Department, Martinez, have been filed with the
Board this day by the Director of General Services; and
WHEREAS Plans and Specifications were prepared by The Building Design
Group; and "
WHEREAS the Architect's cost estimate for the initial construction
contract is $248„000.00; and
WHEREAS the general prevailing rates of wages, which shall be the minimum
rates paid on this project, have been approved by this Board; and
WHEREAS the Board hereby finds that the project is exempt from
Environmental Impact Report requirements as a Class 1 and 3 Categorical
Exemption under County Guidelines and directs the Director of General Services
to file a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk;
IT IS BY THE BOARD RESOLVED that said Plans and Specifications are
hereby APPROVED. Bids for this work will be received on January 15, 1967 at
2:00 p.m. , and the Clerk of this Board is directed to publish Notice to
Contractors in accordance with Section S20125 of the Public Contract Code,
inviting bids for said work, said Notice to be published in the
Martinez News Gazette
