ABSTAIN: None . �ESOL?'11014` N0 : R4./773 SUBJECT: Application for Funds for the California Major Narcotic Vendors Prosecution Program, Office of the District Attorney WHEREAS the District Attorney of the County of Contra Costa desires to undertake a certain project designated California Major Narcotic Vendors Prosecution Program to be funded from funds made available through State General funds as authorized by Chapter 9 of Title 6 of Part 4 of the Penal Code, commencing with Section 13880 for the California Major Narcotic Vendors Prosecution Program administered by the Office of Criminal Justice Planning (hereafter referred to as OCJP) in the amount of $153,707 for the period February 1, 1985 to January 31, 1986; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Chairman of the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors is authorized, on its behalf to submit the application for State funds for California Major Narcotic Vendors Prosecution purposes to OCJP and is authorized to execute on behalf of the County of Contra Costa District Attorney's Office the Grant Award for California Major Narcotic Vendors Prosecution purposes, including any extensions or amendments thereof; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received hereunder shall not be used to supplant expenditures controlled by this body. f hnrchy rer"0Ab'ilia!V-le is a to o and correct copy of tin and entemd, on the ^ir.utes of the Boord of Superv' rs or the date shown.
