RECOMMENDATION
Approve contract as follows:
Number: 24-728-38
Department : Health Services - Alcohol/Drug Abuse/Mental Health Division
Contractor: Rubicon Programs, Inc.
Term: July 1, 1984 through June 30, 1985 with an automatic six-month extension from
June 30, 1985 through December 31, 1985
Payment Limit : $368,767 during the period from July 1, 1984 through June 30, 1985,
and $179,790 during said extension
Funding: $234,324 State Short-Doyle
$ 90,475 Federal Medi-Cal
$ 43,968 County (Includes $17,122 from Board of Supervisors for
cost-of-living adjustment on August 21, 1984)
Service: Vocational Services; Independent Living; Administrative Services/Housing
Program; and Medi-Cal Day Treatment Services Program
BACKGROUND
This contractor has been providing services under an automatic extension of FY 83/84
Contract #24-728-34, as amended by Contract #24-728-35 and #24-728-37 which was approved
by the Board on July 31, 1984. Novation Contract #24-728-38 replaces the six-month auto-
matic extension under the prior contract.
This document has been approved by the Department 's Contracts and Grants Administrator in
accordance with the guidelines approved by the Board's Order of December 1, 1981
(Guidelines for contract preparation and processing, Health Services Department).
