SUBJECT: Convey Easement to
Contra Costa Water District
for Water Pipeline
Buchanan Field Airport
Project No. 0841-6X5326
Concord Area
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
/ The Contra Costa Water District has requested an easement for the installation of
a subsurface water pipeline at Buchanan Field Airport, within the area described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof. The pipeline was installed in
conjunction with the new hanger construction north of Sally Ride Drive. Upon receipt
of said easement the District has agreed to quitclaim to the County an existing
waterline easement being superseded by the easement described in said Exhibit "A".
The Board hereby FINDS that the conveyance of said easement is in the public
interest and that the interest conveyed will not substantially conflict or interfere
with the use of such property by the County.
The Board APPROVES the conveyance of said easement, pursuant to Government Code
Section 25526.6 and the Chairman of this Board is AUTHORIZED to execute a Grant of
Easement to the Contra Costa Water District on behalf of the County.
The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said easement to be delivered to
the Grantee together with a certified copy of this Resolution.

A portion of the Rancho Monte Del Diablo, Contra Costa
County, California, described as follows:
PARCEL ONE
Commencing at the street monument on the centerline of Marsh
Drive. (56.00 feet in right of way width) at the southerly
line of PARCEL A as shown on the map of MS 121-72 filed
August 25, 1972 in' Book 23 of Parcel Maps at page 43, records
of said County; thence from said point of commencement along
said centerline of Marsh Drive, as shown on said map, North 1°
12' 22" West 224. 01 feet; thence leaving said centerline,
North 88° 47 ' 38" East 102.50 feet; thence North 10 12 ' 22"
West 34 . 00 feet to a point which shall hereinafter be
referred to as Point "A-1" , said Point "A-1" being the point
of beginning of the following described strip of land.
A strip of land 20.00 feet in width, the westerly line of
which is described as follows;
Beginning at said Point "A-1" , thence continuing North 1° 12'
22" West 466.00 feet to a point which shall hereinafter be
referred to as Point "B" . Said Point "B" being the northerly
terminus of said Parcel One.
PARCEL TWO
A strip of land 20.00 feet in width, the westerly line of
which is described as follows:
Beginning at the previously described Point "B" , thence
continuing North 10 12 ' 22" West to terminate in the center-
line of the 20.00 feet in width water line easement contain-
ing 0. 863 acres, more or less, as described in the instrument
to Contra Costa County recorded June 28, 1948 in book 1217 at
page 252 of Official Records of said County.
Excepting therefrom all of the above PARCEL TWO which lies
within the existing 0. 863 acre easement .
PARCEL THREE
Beginning at the previously described Point "A-1" , -thence
North 10 12 ' 22" West 10.00 feet along the westerly line of
said PARCEL ONE; thence leaving said westerly line, South 880
47 ' 38" West 10.00 feet; thence South 10 12 ' 22" East 10.00
feet; thence North 880 47 ' 38" East 10.00 feet to Point "A-
1" , the point of beginning.
PARCEL FOUR
Beginning at the previously described Point "B" , thence south
10 12' 22" East 10.00 feet along the westerly line of the

PARCEL SIX
Commencing at the standard street monument at the center line
intersection of Marsh Drive and Mobile Drive as shown on the
Record of Survey map filed December 30, 1969 in Book 52 of
Licensed Surveyor ' s Map at page 35, records of Contra Costa
County; thence along the center line of Marsh Drive as shown
on said map (52 LSM 35) south 10 12 ' 22" east 558.52 feet to
another standard street monument as shown on said map (52 LSM
35) and south 80 49 ' 56" west 83 .94 feet to the center line
of Terminal Road; thence along said center line of Terminal
Road, south 810 10 ' 04" east 165.50 feet; thence northeaster-
ly along the arc of a tangent curve concave to the northwest
having a radius of 200.00 feet through a central angle of 740
21 ' 21" , a distance of 259. 55 feet; thence along the radial
line to the end of said curve north 650 31 ' 25" west 34 .00
feet to a point on the northwesterly right of way line of
said Terminal Road, said point being the point of beginning
of the following described parcel of land; thence from said
point of beginning continuing along said northwesterly right
of way line, north 240 28' 35" east 377.95 feet and northerly
along the arc of a tangent curve, concave to the west having
a radius of 166.00 feet through a central angle of 24 ° 32'
42" , a distance of 71.11 feet; thence leaving said northwes-
terly right of way line of Terminal Road , non tangent to said
curve, south 24 ° 28' 35" west 446.91 feet; thence
southwesterly along the arc of a tangent curve concave to the
.northwest having a radius of 151 .00 feet to the easterly line
of the 20.00 feet in width water line easement containing
0. Q63 acres, more or less, as described in the instrument to
Contra Costa County recorded June 28, 1948 in Book 1217 of
Official Records at page 252, records of said County; thence
southerly 15 feet, more or less, along said easterly line to
the northerly right of way line of said Terminal Road; thence
along said right of way line, northeasterly along the arc of
a curve concave to the northwest having a radius of 166 .00
feet to the point of beginning.
