BEFORE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
OF
COUNTY OF CONTRA COSTA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

WHEREAS it appears from the records of this Board that
the Contra Costa County Building Inspector , acting in accordance
with the Uniform Building Code 1979 Edition 5eo , 203 and Uniform
Housing Code 1967 Edition , Sec . H-lOOl and H-1002 , and Title 25,
Chapter I Subchapter I See . 1012 et seq . of the California Admin-
istrative Code , having determined that the building (s )and improve-
ments located at
2845 Willow Pass Road
are substandard and is therefore a public nuisance ; and said Build-
ing Inspector having posted said property with Notice of Substandard
Building and having notified the owner of said property that it is
substandard in the manner provided by law as appears more par-
ticularly from the declaration of the Building Inspector on file
herein ; and
WHEREAS the said buildings and improvements have
not been repaired or removed as required by said Notice of Substandard
Buildings and improvements , and
WHEREAS said Building Inspector thereafter posted
said property with Notice Nuisance , which notice specified
the time and place of the hearing before this Board for the owners
of said property to show cause why the buildings and improvements
thereon should not be condemned as a public nuisance , and the Build-
ing Inspector having notified the owners of said property of said
hearing in the manner provided by law ; and
WHEREAS the matter having come on for a continued
hearing by this Board on Tuesday , May 19 , 1981 , at lO : }O A .M .
as provided in the notice hereinabove mentioned ; and

WHEREAS the Board having considered the evidence presented
by uaid Building Inspector and all other interested parties , the
following appears and this Board now finds that said buildings
and improvements are substandard as defined in Sections H-lOOl and
H-1002 of the Uniform Housing Code 1967 Edition .
BE IT THEREFOR[ RESOLVED that said buildings and improve-
menta are substandard and are declared to be a public nuisance
and the owners thereof hereby ordered to abate said nuisance
within 30 days after a copy of this resolution , together with
notice thereof has been posted to said property .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it is the conclusion of the
Board that said buildings and improvements cannot be reconstructed
or repaired in u manner so as to comply with the provisions of
Title 25 Chapter l Subchapter I of the California Administrative
Code or the Uniform Housing Code , 1967 Edition as incorporated in
the Contra Costa County Ordinance Code and therefore said buildings
and improvements must be razed and removed . This order shall apply
to all structures and improvements on this site with the exception
of the cement block structures located to the rear of the property -
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that ' f said nuisance is not abated
within the time allowed , said nuisance will be abated by the Build-
ing Inepoctor of the county , and the expense thereof made u lien upon
the land upon which said bulidinga and improvements are located .
