Termination of Subdivision ) RESOLUTION No. 81/519
Agreement and Refund of Cash Bond
Subdivision MS 19-78,
City of Lafayette.
On October 28, 1980, this Board having approved the parcel map and
subdivision agreement for Subdivision MS 19-78 in the City of Lafayette; and
On November 26, 1980, the Reliez Valley Territory No. 2 Annexation, of which
this subdivision is a part, having been annexed to the City of Lafayette; and
The County Public Works Department having received a letter on April 30,
1981, from the City of Lafayette stating that it had received and accepted a substitute
subdivision agreement and letter of credit, and requesting that the County's agreement
and deposits be released;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this Board for and on behalf of
Contra Costa County, hereby releases all of the County's rights and interests under the
aforementioned subdivision improvement agreement and exonerates the bonds required
said agreement; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Acting Public Works Director is
authorized to refund to Shelter Development Corporation the $1,000 cash deposit
(Auditor's Deposit Permit No. 34960, dated October 21, 1980) guaranteeing construction
of the improvements; and
PASSED BY THE BOARD on May 12, 1981 by the fallowing vote;AYES-Supervisors Fanden, Schroder, McPeak, Torlakson, and Powers.
