RESOLUTION NO. 81/455
In the Matter of
Salary Adjustment for Certain
Supervisory and Management
Nursing Classes
THE CONTRA COSTA BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RESOLVES THAT:
1. This Board previously adopted Resolution 79/781 providing for the compensation
for certain County officers and employees for the periods 1979-80 and 1980-81.
2. It being recommended by the Management Compensation Committee and the County
Administrator that additional adjustment be made for compensation for certain
supervisory and management nursing classes in the Health Services and Probation
Departments.
3. Effective April 1, 1981, adjustment of salary levels are made for the following
classes:
Class To Level Range
Supervising Nurse 568 $2083 - 2531
Supervising Clinic'Nurse 568 2083 - 2531
Operating Room Supervisor 601 2303 - 2799
Assistant Director of Nursing 606 2338 - 2842
Director of Nursing 652 2691 - 3270
4. Included within pay warrants issued by the County Auditor-Controller on May 10,
1981 additional one-time only gross pay adjustments are made for the following
classes.
Class Amount
Supervising Nurse $ 895
Supervising Clinic Nurse 895
Operating Room Supervisor 986
Assistant Director of Nursing 989
Director of Nursing 1171
5. A Supervising Nurse assigned to evening or night shift shall receive extra pay
of only one shift differential of ten (10) percent of base salary rate.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE BOARD on April 28, 1981, by the following
vote:
AYES: Supervisors Fadden, Schroder, McPeak, Torlakson, Powers,
