HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01011981 - 1981-426 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of Modifying the Memorandum of Understanding Resolution No. 81/4 26 between the County and California Nurses Association, dated October 9, 1980 The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors RESOLVES that: 1. On April 21, 1981 the Employee Relations Officer submitted a letter of agreement entered into with California Nurses Association for the Registered Nurses Unit. 2. This Board having thoroughly considered said letter of agreement, the same is approved. 3. Accordingly the Memorandum of Understanding dated October 9, 1980, entered into with California Nurses Association for the Registered Nurses Unit and adopted by Resolution 80/1192 and 80/1309 is hereby modified as follows: Section 13.4 is amended to read Employees in permanent-intermittent positions in classifications covered by the Registered Nurses Unit shall receive holiday pay at the rate of one and one-half times the employees' basic salary rate for all hours worked on a recognized holiday. This Resolution is effective as of May 1, 1981. Dvector o!personnel April 15, 1981 Pat Orr, Representative California Nurses Association 790 Market Street San Francisca, CA 94102 Dear Ms. Orr: This letter is to confirm understandings reached concerning, the compensation of Permanent Intermittent Registered Nurses. (1) A differential of seven and ane--half percent (7-�%) will be added to the base pay of Permanent Intermittent Registered Nurses to compensate nurses for benefits not received and the irregular nature of this type of employment. (2) Permanent Intermittent Nurses shall be appointed and compensated in accordance with the provision of Section Seven (7) of Resolution 80,/1170. (3) All Permanent Intermittent Registered Nurses shall receive holiday pay at the rate of one and one-half times the employees" basic salary rate for all hours actually worked on a recognized holiday.
