HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01011981 - 1981-331 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of: Salary Adjustment for Certain Supervisory and Management RESOLUTION N0. 81/331 Employees in the Sheriff and District Attorney Departments The Contra Costa Board of Supervisors RESOLVES THAT: 1. This Board previously adopted Resolution 79/781 providing for the compensation for certain County officers and employees for the periods 1979-80 and 1980-81. 2. This Board previously adopted Resolution 80/959 providing for additional monthly compensation of $413 for an incumbent serving in the exempt position of Assistant Sheriff and additional monthly compensation of $592 for an incumbent serving in the exempt Assistant Sheriff position designated Chief Executive Assistant. 3. It being recommended by the Management Compensation Committed and the County Administrator that additional adjustments be made with respect to certain supervisory and management employees in the Sheriff's, Marshal's and District Attorney's Departments. 4. Effective Marchi 1, 1981, adjustment of salary levels on the H salary schedule are made for the following classified and exempt classes: Class To New Salam Range Chief Executive Assistant Sheriff (Exempt) $3856F Assistant Sheriff (Exempt) $36768 Captain $2706 - $3290 Deputy Sheriff-Chief, Criminalistic Laboratory $2706 - $3290 Deputy Sheriff-Supervising Criminalistic $2427 - $2950 District Attorney Chief Inspector $2557 - $3108 District Attorney Supervising Inspector $2174 - $2643 Lieutenant $2297 - $2792 Marshal (Schedule A) $2595 - $3155 Marshal (Schedule B) $2456 - $2986 Assistant Marshal $2227 - $2707 5. An incumbent when serving in the position of Assistant Sheriff shall receive $386 additional compensation per month. An Assistant Sheriff who is designated as the Chief Executive Assistant shall receive $566 additional compensation per month. The Contra Costa County Salary Schedule for exempt classes is hereby modified to this effect. 6. Provisions in Resolution 80/959 relating only to additional compensation for incumbents serving in the exempt position(s) of Chief Executive Assistant Sheriff and Assistant Sheriff, are hereby rescinded and superseded.
