After the delinquent date, State of California Senior Citizens Postponement Certificates of Eligibility were submitted to the County Tax Collector. The claims for these Certificates were timely filed with the State. Under Revenue and Taxation Code Section 20645.5, where the claims for postponement are timely filed and the failure to timely perfect the claim is not due to the willful neglect of the claimant or representative, any delinquent pera.lty shall be canceled. I now request cancellation of the 6%' penalty pursuant to Section 20645.5 of the Revenue and Taxation Code.
