C Cj§ 410 - 4 .002 & Bay Area ) 410 - 4.004 Harbor & Navigation Code - - -- §§ 660 & 662 ) The Board of Supervisors , having received complaints concerning damage to boats berthed at home docks along Indian Slough , said damage being caused by speeding pleasure boats and boats towing water skiers ; and Contra Costa County Ordinance Code E3§ 410-4 .002 and 410-4 . 004 providing that the Board of Supervisors may, by resolution, designate a slow area which is a speed zone in which no vessel may be operated at a speed in excess of five nautical miles per hour ; The Board of Supervisors RESOLVES that , pursuant to Contra Costa County Ordinance Code §§ 410-4 .002 and 410-4 .004 , the following waterway area in the vicinity of Discovery Bay is HEREBY DESIGNATED a slow area : Indian Slough - The water between the entrance to Lido Bay and Kellogg Creek . The Clerk of the Board is directed to file a certified copy of this resolution with the State of California Resources Agency, Department of Boating and Waterways .
