The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
The City of Concord has requested an easement for the installation
of subsurface electrical and telephone lines at Buchanan Field Airport
within the area described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof. Said utility lines will serve a sewer metering device to be
located within an existing sewer easement located at the northeast corner
of Buchanan Field Airport.
The Board hereby FINDS that the conveyance of said easement is in
the public interest and that the interest conveyed will not substantially
{ conflict or interfere with the use of such property by the County.
The Board hereby APPROVES the conveyance of said easement, pursuant
to Government Code Section 25526.6, and the Chairman of this Board is
AUTHORIZED to execute a Grant of Easement to the City of Concord on behalf
of the County.
The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said easement to be
delivered to the grantee together with a certified copy of this resolution.
This Board further FINDS that the proposed conveyance of this easement
is exempt from Environmental Impact Report requirements as a Class 12
Categorical Exemption under County Guidelines and DIRECTS the Acting Public
Works Director to file a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk. The
conveyance has been determined to conform to the County General Plan.
PASSED by the Board on February 10, 1981 by the following vote :
AYES Supervisors Fanden, Schroder, Torlakson, Powers
NOES : None
ABSENT: Supervisor McPeak

EXHIBIT "A"
A portion of Rancho Monte Del Diablo described as follows:
PERMANENT EASEMENT
A strip of land ten (10) feet in width generally lying five (5) feet on
each side of the following described centerline with the exception
being along the Contra Costa County Flood Control channel where the
distance from easement centerline to the westerly easement boundary is
4. 35 feet to coincide with the Contra Costa County Flood Control right
of way line.
Commencing at Contra Costa County Flood Control monument :�'6818 located on
the easterly property line of that parcel of land described as Parcel
One in the deed from Contra Costa County to Contra Costa County Flood
Control and .dater Conservation District recorded August 6, 1968 in Book
5682 at page 356 of Official Records of Contra Costa County; thence,
North 63'16' 59"* East, 3.39 feet; thence North 26'43'01" West*, 110.25
feet to the center of an existing manhole; thence North 27013'04" West,
7.08 feet to the point of beginning; thence North 27'13' 04" West, 51 .91
feet; thence North 67'43' 11" East, 206.61 feet; thence South 75'30' 00"
East, 365.83 feet; thence North 74'30'00" East, 197.53 feet to a point
on the westerly line of Solano Way; with the sidelines lengthened or
shortened to terminate easement within lands of Grantor.
WORKING EASEMENT
A temporary easement required during utility construction operations ONLY
over a strip of land ten (10) feet in width southerly of and immediately
adjacent to the above permanent easement with the exception of that portion of
the working easement parallel to the Contra Costa County Flood Control
channel where it will be easterly of and immediately adjacent to the
above described permanent easement.
Said working easement to be NULL AND VOID upon completion of construction
of the utilities.
