HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01011981 - 1981-1482 BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ??e: LUP 2066 -80 Annexation to ) County Service Area L-42 , ) RESOLUTION NO. 81/1482 San Ramon Area ) } The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: Application for the subject Annexation was filed with the Local Agency Formation Commission of Contra Costa. County by the representative of the owner on July 31, 1881. The subject Annexation has been designated by the Local Agency Formation Commission as "LUP-2066-80 Annexation to County Service Area L-42 (LA.FC 81-54 ) and a description of the exterior boundaries of the territory to be annexed is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and by this reference incorporated herein. As determined by the Local Agency Formation Commission, the territory proposed to be annexed is legally uninhabited. The reason for the proposed Annexation is that the area to be annexed is in need of street lighting services. This Annexation was approved by the Local Agency Formation Co=ission on October 14 , 1981, subject to the condition that the territory proposed to be annexed be as described in Exhibit "A" , attached hereto. At 10 : 30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 22, 1981, in the chambers of the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California, this Board held a public hearing on the pro- posed Annexation. At said hearing, the Board of Supervisors heard and received any oral and written protests, objections or evidence which the public desired to make, present or file. This Board believes this Annexation is in the best interests of the people of the affected service area and the territory to be annexed and is fair, just and equitable. This .Board therefore APPROVES and ORDERS this Annexation as conditioned by the Local Agency Formation Commission. The Clerk of this Board shall forthwith transmit a certified copy of this Resolution, along with a remittance to cover the fees required by Section 54902. 5 of the Government Code, to the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission.
