The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
Application for the subject Annexation was filed with the
Local Agency Formation Commission of Contra Costa County by the
representative of the owner on September 17, 1981.
The subject Annexation has been designated by the Local Agency
Formation Commission as "Assessment District 1579-5 Annexation to
County Service Area L-42 .(LAFC 81-67 ) and. a. description of the N/
exterior boundaries of the territory to be annexed is attached
hereto as Exhibit "A" and by this reference incorporated herein.
As determined by the Local Agency Formation Commission, the
territory proposed to be annexed is legally uninhabited.
The reason for the proposed Annexation is that the area to be
annexed is in need of street lighting services.
This Annexation was approved by the Local Agency Formation
Commission on October 14, 1981, subject to the condition that
the territory proposed to be annexed be as describer) in Exhibit
"A" , attached hereto.
At 10 :30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 72, 1981, in the chambers
of the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County, 651 Pine Street,
Martinez, California, this Board held a public hearing on the pro-
posed Annexation.
At said hearing, the Board of Supervisors heard and received
any oral and written protests, objections or evidence which the
public desired to make, present or file.
This Board believes this Annexation is in the best interests
of the people of the affected service area and the territory to
be annexed and is fair, just and equitable. This Board therefore
APPROVES and ORDERS this Annexation as conditioned by the Local
Agency Formation Commission.
The Clerk of this Board shall forthwith transmit a certified
copy of this Resolution, along with a remittance to cover the fees
required by Section 54902. 5 of the Government Code, to the Executive
Officer of the Local Agency Formatio.i Commission.

easterly corner of the 13.253 acre parcel described in the deed to M. G. Van Deusep,
recorded May 21 , 1931 , Book 271 of Official Records, Page 96; thence following said
southerly line of Fostoria Way South 260 081 24" East 5.00 feet; thence South -

the boundary of C.S.A. L-42, Westerly, across the aforesaid Railroad RJW, 225.00
feet, more or less, to the southwestern line of said Railroad RJW (200' wide) ;
thence Southeasterly, along the last mentioned southwestern line, 935.00 feet, more
or less, to the southeast corner of Lot 49 of Tract 3721 recorded on December 18,
1968 in Book 125 Maps Page 19; thence following the south line of said Tract 3721
