HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01011981 - 1981-1347 BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Re : Grayson-Reliez 81/842 ) Annexation to County ) RESOLUTION NO. 81/1347 Service Area L-42 , ) Pleasant Hill Area. ) The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: Application for the subject Annexation was filed with the Local Agency Formation Commission of Contra Costa County by landowners in the territory on July 30, 1981. The subject Annexation has been designated by the Local Agency Formation Commission as ''the "Grayson-Reliez 81/842 Annexation to County Service Area L-42 (LAFC 81-57) " and a de--� scription of the exterior boundaries of the territory to be annexed is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and by this reference incorporated herein. As determined by the Local Agency Formation Commission, the territory proposed to be annexed is legally inhabited. The reason for the proposed Annexation is that the area to be annexed is in need of street lighting services. This Annexation was approved by the Local Agency Formation Commission on September 10, 1981, subject to the condition that the territory proposed to be annexed be as described in Exhibit "A6l , attached hereto. At 10 :30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 1981, in the chambers of the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California, this Board held a public hearing on the proposed Annexation. At said hearing, the Board of Supervisors heard and received any oral and written, protests, objections or evidence which the public desired to make , present or file. This Board believes this Annexation is in the best interests of the people of the affected service area and the territory to be annexed and is fair, just and equitable. This Board therefore APPROVES and ORDERS this Annexation as conditioned by the Local Agency Formation Commission. The Clerk of this Board shall forthwith transmit a certified copy of this Resolution, along with a remittance to cover the fees required by Section 54902. 5 of the Government Code, to the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board on November 24, 1981 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Fanden, Schroder, Torlakson, and Powers. NOES: None ABSENT: Supervisor McPeak.
