WHEREAS Plans and Specifications for the Reroof at Fire Station No. 16,
4007 Los Arabis Drive, Lafayette, CA 94549
have been filed with the Board this day by the Acting Public Works Director; and
WHEREAS Plans and Specifications were prepared by the Public Works
Department; and
WHEREAS the Engineer's cost estimate for construction is $ 6,300.00,
base bid, and
WHEREAS the general prevailing rates of wages, which shall be the
minimum rates paid on this project, have been approved by this Board; and
WHEREAS the Board hereby finds that the project is exempt from
Environmental Impact Report requirements as a Class ld Categorical Exemp-
tion under County Guidelines and directs the Acting Public Works Director
to file a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk.
The Board of Supervisors, as the Governing Body of the Contra
Costa County Fire Protection District, RESOLVES that said Plans and
Specifications are hereby APPROVED. Bids for this work will be received
on March 5, 1981 at 2:00 pm , and the Clerk of this Board is
DI ED to puSlish NFfif—ceto Contractors in accordance with Section §13885
of the Health & Safety Code, inviting bids for said work, said Notice to
be published in the Q.Qntra Costa Sun
