RESOLUTION OF PROCEEDINGS FOR ANNEXA'T'ION
AND ORDERING ANNEXATION TO COUNTY SERVICE AREA
WITHOUT HEARING OR ELECTION
The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors RESOLVES THAT.
This Annexation was proposed by the landowners of the subject
area by application filed with the Executive Officer of the Local
Agency Formation Commission on September 8 , 1981. The reason for
the Droposed ?annexation is to provide the area to be annexed with
street lighting services.
On October 14, 1981 the Local Agency Formation Commission
approved the proposal for the aforesaid Annexation, subject to the
conditions that 1) the exterior boundaries of the territory proposed
to be annexed be as described in Exhibit "A" , attached hereto and
by this reference incorporated herein, 2) the affected territory
presently not within Improvement Zane No. l of Contra Costa County
Water District be concurrently annexed to said improvement zone as
part of these proceedings as provided by subdivision (e) of Government
Code Section 56470 and 3) the affected territory be subject to
existing bonded indebtedness of said improvement zone. Said
Commission also found the territory proposed for annexation to be
legally uninhabited, assigned the proposal the designation of
"Subdivision 5994 Annexation to County Service Area L-42"1 , and
authorized the Annexation without notice and hearing by this Board.
This Board hereby finds that this proposed Annexation is in
the best interest of the people of County Service Area L-42 and
of the territory to be annexed, that no landowner therein filed a
written protest, and that all landowners in the affected area have
consented in writing to the proposed Annexation. This Board hereby
ORDERS this Annexation without hearimg, without election, and
without being subject to confirmation by the voters.
The Clerk shall transmit a certified copy of this Resolution
along with the appropriate fees to the Executive Officer of the
Local .Agency Formation Commission, in accordance with Government
Code §56450.

Real property in the County of Contra Costa, unincorporated, State of
California, described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 10 as said lot is shown on the
Map of the Government Ranch, recorded November 8, 1884 in Book D of Maps at
Page 87, Records of Contra Costa County; thence from said point of beginning
North 790 30' East 1120.15 feet to the westerly boundary line of Parcel A and
B as said parcels are shown on the parcel map recorded in Book 25 of Parcel
Maps at Page 17, Contra Costa County records, thence along said westerly
boundary line and along the prolongation of said westerly boundary line South
210 000 East 1502.57 feet to the westerly line of the 100 feet right-of-way
as said right-of-way is described in the deed from Anna M. Williams to East
Bay Municipal Utility District, a public corporation recorded in Book 17 of
Official Records of Contra Costa County, Page 441 ; thence along last said
westerly line South 90 34' 37" West 192.00 feet; thence in a westerly direction
to a point on the west line of Lot 1 , as said Lot 1 is shown on the map of
aforesaid map of the Government Ranch (Book D Maps, 87) , which is 1552.13 feet
South of the point of beginning, and thence in a northerly direction along
the west line of Lot 1 and Lot 10, map of the Government Ranch to the point
of beginning.
Containing 46.00 acres, more or less.
Note:
As to Improvement Zone No. 1 of Contra Costa County Water District only
that portion not now within said zone .
