HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01011981 - 1981-1260 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of Application) to LAFCO for Annexation to ) RESOLUTION NO. 81/ 1260 County Service Area L-42 } WHEREAS the Public Works Director has recommended that the prop- erties within the boundaries of Assessment District 1979-4 be annexed to County Service Area L-42 for the purpose of receiving street lighting service, NOW THEREFORE, this Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES that: Section 1. Application and a proposal is hereby made to the "faces Agency Formation Commission of Contra Costa County for a change of organization as follows: a) This proposal is made pursuant to the District Reorgani- zation Act of 1965, commencing with Section 56000 of the Government Code, b) The nature of the proposed change of organization is annexation of affected territory to County Service Area L-42. c) Affected territory is as described in the attached Exhibit A and is legally inhabited in accordance with the definition set forth in Government Code Section 56045; and d) Annexation would allow the Service Area to provide street lighting to the affected territory. Section 2. Application is hereby made for Local Agency Formation Commission of Contra Costa County to initiate proceedings on this annexation request.
