RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Contra County RESOLVES THAT:
It intends to purchase, jointly with the Contra Costa .County Board of Education
pursuant to a Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement dated June 24, 1981 , from the
Mt. Diablo Unified School District for County and School Board office purposes,
the real property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for $1 ,490,250.00 in
accordance with the terms and conditions of the "Offer Form and Option to Purchase"
Agreement accepted by the Governing Board of the Mt. Diablo Unified School District
on August 25, 1981 , which is a fair and reasonable price therefor.
This Board will meet on October 6, 1981 at 10:30 a.m. in the Board's Chambers,
County Administration Building, Martinez, California, to consummate this purchase
and the Clerk of this Board is DIRECTED to publish the following notice in the
Martinez News Gazette pursuant to Government Code Section 6063.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County declares its intention
to purchase from Mt. Diablo Unified School District, at a price of $1 ,490,250.00,
the former Oak Park Elementary School site with buildings containing approximately
42;000.square feet of floor space on approximately 7.98 acres of land located at
1700 Oak Park Boulevard, Pleasant Hill , California and more particularly described
in Resolution No. 81/1014 of the Board and will meet at 10:30 a.m. on October 6,
1981 in its Chambers,-T-ounty Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez,
California, to consummate the purchase.

That parcel of land in the City of Pleasant Hill , County of Contra Costa, State
of California, described as follows:
Portion of the Rancho Las Juntas, described as follows:
Commencing at the northeast corner of the certain parcel of land described in
the deed from Developers Corporation to El Dorado Associates, Inc. , dated
April 21 , 1947 and recorded July 28, 1947 in Volume 1102 of Official Records,
at page 196 thence South 30' 43' 30" West, 1268.59 feet; thence North 890 09' 0511
West, 115.33 feet to the point of beginning of this description; thence from said
point of beginning North 890 90' 05" West, 714.74 feet; thence South 00 50' 55"
West, 641 .88 feet to the north line of Oak Park Boulevard; thence along said
north line easterly along the arc of a curve to the right with a radius of 4030
feet, 99.41 feet and South 800 16' 30 " East, tangent to said curve, 222.43 feet;
thence North 300 43' 30" East,, 796.13 feet to the point of beginning.
Reserving therefrom unto grantor an easement for an underground irrigation
pipeline, ten feet in width, the centerline of which is described as follows:

89" 09' 05" West, 414.74 feet to the point of beginning of this description;
thence from said point of beginning South 0* 50' 55" West, 370.00 feet; thence
South 620 191 08" West, 244.72 feet; thence South 5' 56' 38" West, 165.49 feet
to the north line of Oak Park Boulevard. The side lines of said ten foot
easement to be shortened or lengthened to extend from the northerly line
(North 890 091 05" West) to said north line of Oak Park Boulevard.
