NOTICE OF MAKING OF AMENDED ASSESSMENTS
(Parcels 30, 17-A & 50-A-1A)
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
It has adopted a resolution of intention that provided for the
establishment of this Assessment District, and pursuant thereto an
assessment and diagram were rade and filed with the County Clerk
and confirmed by this Board, recorded in the office of the Public
Works Director of this County (Road Commissioner-Surveyor) , and
recorded in Book 6 of Maps of Assessment Districts, at page 67.
Certain lots or parcels of land in this District upon which there
are unpaid assessments against which bonds have been issued under
the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, have been divided so that they
no longer conform to the original parcel boundaries as shown on
said assessment.
The Public Works Director, pursuant to an Order of this Board,
has prepared and filed with the County Clerk, County Administration
Building, Martinez, three copies of a report and amended assessment
and diagram of the lots and parcels so divided, said parcels being
designated Assessment Numbers 30-A, 30-B, 17-A-1, 17-A-21 50-A-1A-11
and 50-A- lA-2. The report and amended assessment provides that the
unpaid installments of said original assessments shall be segregated
and apportioned in accordance with the benefits of the several parts
of each original lot or parcel and the total amount of the assessment
Of the several portions of each original lot or parcel shall be equal
to the unpaid assessments upon said original lot or parcel of land,
Plus the costs and fees for making the amended assessment, the notices,
and the amended assessment diagram as has been determined by the
Hoard. The costs and fees have been apportioned by the Public Works
Director to the respective parcels in proportion to the amount of the
divided assessments against the parcels.
For parcel 50-A-1A, the Public Works Director has recommended
that no costs or fees of making this apportionment be levied or
collected pursuant to Streets and Highways Code Section 8730 and
Resolution No. 69/567.
Further, the Public Warks Director has notified the owner of the
original parcel assessed, as the name of the owner appears on the last
equalized roll for taxes, or was known to the Public Works Director,
Of the order of the Board fixing the costs and fees of the apportion-
ment, and directing that the payment thereof be made to the Public
Works Director within 15 days of said notification. More than 15 days
have passed since the notification, and the Public Works Director has
not been paid the amount of the costs and fees of the proposed
apportionment.

At a.m. on Tuesday, , 1981, in the
Chambers of -the Board of Supervisors, County AdminiStrAtion wilding,
Martinez, California, the Board will conduct a public hearing upon
the report and amended assessment and shall confirm or modify it. At
the hearing all personas interested in the original assessment, or in
the lands affected thereby or in the bonds secured thereby, may appear
and protest against the amended assessment.

be complete at least 15 days- prior to the hearing date.
