HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01011969 - 69-875 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter ,of the Construction of Public Improvements on East Side of Maywood Drive between Treat )' RESOLUTION NO. 69/875 Boulevard and Elmwood Drive ) ('Assessment District No. 1969-- , Zone B. ) RESOLUTION CONFIRMING REPORT OF COST AND ASSESSMENT AND ALLOWING PAYMENT OF ASSESSMENTS IN INS'T'ALLMENTS The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: On December 16 , 1969, the County Read Commissioner--Surveyor of this County filed with the Clerk of this Board a report of the cast of constructing curbs, gutters;, street paving and drainage facilities in front of properties fronting can the east side of Maywood Drive between Treat Boulevard and Elmwood Drive in the Walnut Creek area of this County; pursuant to Resolution No. 69/326 adoptedon May 20, 1969 . Said report includes an assessment of the cast of these improvements against the. properties in front of which the improvements have been constructed; and December 23, 1969 , was set > as the time when this Beard would hear and pass upon' objections or protests to the proposed assessment Notice of the proposed assessment and of the hearing; was duly given in the time., form and manner' required` by ,law; and all protests , oral or written, which have been presented to this Board have been duly heard and considered. It is hereby determined that the payment of such assessments of fifty dollars ('$50) or more may be paid in ten (1'0) equal annual Installments , and that the payment of assessments so deferred shall bear interest on , the unpaid balance at a rate of six (6) percent per annum on the unpaid balance . Said interest shall. begin to run on the 31st day after the date of this resolution. This Board Hereby Resolves that all objections and pretests to the levy of said assessments are hereby overruled and that said Report of Cont , and the assessments contained therein, are hereby confirmed and adopted. The Road Commissioner-Surveyor is directed> to record a notice of Lien, pursuant to Chapter 27 of the Improvement Act of 1911, ' against each parcel of property, the assessment on which is not paid within five days of this date. Copies of the recorded notices of lien shall be transmitted to the County Auditor, and the amounts of said assessments shall be added to the regular county bill for taxes ' levied against the properties and 'collection pursuant to Streets and Highways Cade Sections 5893 : 5$94 and 5395.
