Cade 56140, Lafayette Fire Protection District 56195, 56196)' RESOLUTION OF APPLICATION OR APPROVAL TO INITIATE PROCEEDINGS FOR CHANCE I OF CRG.ANIZATION TD DISSOLVE THE >LAFAYETTE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT: The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: This Board hereby dstermiines that pursuant to Division 1 of Title 6 (commencing; with Section 56600) of the Government Code of the State of California, it proposes to initiate proceedings for'' the »changeof organization to dissolvIe the Lafayette Fire Protection Dist rlct , Conga Costa county. The reasons for the application for dissolution of the Lafayette Fire Protection District are that the territory of said Lafayette Fire Protection District has been anx�execi to the 'C�sr�tra Costa County Fire Prc�tootion (District, that inthe'I immediate past there has been a nonuser of corporate pow+�rs by the Lafayette Piro Protection ;District , there is a reasonable pot ibility that such nonuser may continue, acid the Lafayette Fire Prc�tocticon Dis- trict has no assets or liabilities . Further, the governirng board of said district no longer furnishes or provides servioea of sub- stantial benefit to residents and la dor ners within the district. It is hereby requested that the Local Agency Formation Com- mission of Contra Costa County take all necessary proceedings upon the proposal contained herein that this Board; of Supervisors be given approval of its ',proposal to initiate the change of organi- nation to dissolve the Lafayette Fire Protection District. The Clerk of this Board Is hereby directed to file a certl. fied copy of this ADD lidation ,With the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission.
