HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01011969 - 69-834 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of Changes } of the Assessment Rail ) RESOLUTION NO. 69/834 of Contra Costa County ) } WHEREAS, the County Assessor heaving filed with this Board requests for corrections of erroneous assessments, said requests having been consented to by the District Attorney; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County Auditor is authorized to correct the following assessments: For the Fiscal Year 1969 - 19V24 It has been, aseertained from the assessment roll and from papers in the Assessors office' what eras intended and ghat should have been assessed; and, therefore, pursuantto the Revenue and Taxation Cods, Section k. 831, the following defects in description and/or form and clerical error of the assessor on the roll should be corrected; and., further, all or any portion of unoellected 'tax, penalty or costs, heretofore or hereafter levied erroneously or illegally due to such error should be cancelled pursuant to Section ,k9$6 (1) (b) of the Revenue and Taxation Cods: In Code :Area 3060, Polo No. 502-113-322, Arthur J. & Louise M. Pangrazio are erroneously assessed with Land $1j,620 and Improvements $3#E314, due to clerical error in posting the wrong values on the property record. This assessment should be corrected to read.: Land 2,430# Improvements $1,3900 making a Total assessed value of $30620. R. School District and <19 9.70 taxes were cancelled by Beard Order 69/575, 8/26/69, The acreage remaining after cancellation was erroneously considered as 5.48 acres with a Land values of Ols7©os and an erroneous total assessed value of $32,950. This portion should be corrected to read 4.42 acres with a Land value of $25,134, no change in Improvement value of $1,250, and a Total assessed value of $26:3$4• In Code ,Area 62039, Pal. No. 357-186-Qd5, Angelo Luchin.i is erroneously assessed with Personal Property $2$110,0 due to clerical error in, misreading figure in the calculating machine. This assess- ment should be corrected to read. Land $2,220 (no change)., Improve- ments $2,780 (no change, Personal Property $1,350, Business . Inventory Exemption $57 (no change),. making a Net value of $6,297. In. Code area 66043, Pal. No. 199-090-403, East Bay Municipal fftility 'District is erroneously assessed with Improvements $6,310, which, were built after purchase of the property, as such improvements are Nontaxable under State Constitution Article XIII,# Section 1.
