Cocke 56320, } 56323, 56451) RESOLUTION ORDERING ANNEXATION OF SUBDIVISION 3861 (PINOLE AREA) TO COUNTY SERVICE AREA L--41 The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: On October 14, 1969, this Board adopted Resolution. No. 69, 671 initiating proceedings for the annexation of Subdivision 3861 to County Service Area. L-41. This annexation had been proposed to this Beard by the representative of the owner of said subdivision. Resolution of application for the proposed change in organization was filed by the representative of the owner with the Executive Officer of the Local: Agency Formation Commission on ,August 22,, 1969. The reason for the proposed annexation is to provide said territory with street lighting services . On October 1, 1969, the Local Agency Formation Commission approved the resolution of application, without condition, declared the territory proposed to be annexed as uninhabited and assigned the proposal designation as "Subdivision '3861. Annexation to County Service Area L-41. " The exterior boundaries of the territory to be annexed are as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto' and by reference incorporated herein, and are located entirely within Contra 'Costa County. The Board's Resolution No. 69/671 fixed 10 :O0 a.m. on Tuesday, November 2,5, 1969, as the time for a public bearing on the annexa- tion of the above said territory. Notice of said hearing was duly given by (1 ) publication' in "The Pinole Progress" (2) >posting on the Board's bulletin board, and (3) mailing notice to all persons and counties, cities or districts which had filed a written request for special notice with theClerkof the Board. This Board, at the time and place set for said hearing, heard the determination of the Local Agency Formation Commission read aloud, and then called for evidence or protests as provided for by Government Code Section 56314 , andno protests were made orally or in writing by any person or taxpayer. This Board hereby finds that the proposed annexation of Subdivision 3861 to County Service Area. L--41 is in the best interest of the people of above said County Service Area. This Board hereby .finds that the above said subdivision is uninhabited and that no landowner owning property in the above said subdivision filed' , -I- RESOLUTION NO. 69/793' written protest. This Board 'hereby orders Subdivision 3861 as described in Exhibit "A" annexed to County; Service Area L-41 without election and without being subject to confirmation by the voters upon the question of annexation. The Clerk of this Board is hereby directed to file his certificate of completion with the Secretary of State in accordance with Government Cade Section 56451.
