Code Secs . 56443, of the Tassajara Fire Protection ) 56451, 56452, 56453) District . ) RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ORDER FOR REORGANIZATION BY ELECTION OF COUNTY SERVICE AREA F-2 BY DISSOLVING COUNTY SERVICE AREA F-2 AND CONCURRENTLY FORMING THE TASSAJARA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: On August 5, 1969 , this Board adopted Resolution No. 69/509 ordering reorganization of County Service Area F-2 by dissolving County Service Area F-2 and concurrently forming the Tassajara Fire Protection District subject to confirmation by the voters upon the question thereof. The reorganization had been proposed by this Beard. A resolution of application for the proposed reorganization was filed by the Board of Super- visors with the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission on May 14, 1969 . The reason for the proposed reorganization is as set forth in the application for reorgani- zation and is that this Board feels that the residents of the proposed Tassajara Fire Protection District should control their own fire protection affairs . On June 4 , 1968, the Local Agency Formation Commission approved the application subject to the following terms and conditions : 1 . The Tassajara Fire Protection District shall be the successor of the dissolved County Service Area F-2 . 2. The Tassajara Fire Protection District shall succeed to all of the assets (including real property) and liabilities of the dissolved County Service Area F-2. 3. The Board of Supervisors shall be the governing body of the fire district , with five commissioners to be appointed pursuant to health and Safety Code, Section 13884 . 4 . The effective date of the fire district formation shall be prior to January >l, 1970 , and the effective date of the service area dissolution shall be June 30, 1970. -1- RESOLUTION NO. 69/759 The Local Agency Formation Commission assigned the proposal designation as "Tassajara Fi t TASSAJARA REORGANIZATION r (Concurrent Dissolution of County ,Service Area F_2 and Formation of Tassa jara Fire Protection District) + r 4 Beginning ,at the intersection of the southern boundary of Contra Costa i County with the eastern :Line of Section 9, Township 2 South, Range 2 East, ' i Mount Diablo Base and Meridian; thence Northerly along the eastern line of Sections 9 and 4, T25, R2 ., and Section 33, TIS, RZE, and along the northern .} extension of the eastern line of Section 33 to its intersection with the eastern extension of the northern line of said Section 33 thence Westerly j along said eastern extension and along the northern line of Sections 33, 32 , and 31, TIS, F2E, and along the northern line of Section 36, Tia, RIE, to the northwestern corner of said Section 36, being the southeastern corn;. of Section 26, TIS, RIE; thence Northerly and Westerly along the eastern 3 . and northern lines of said Section 26 to the northwestern corner thereof, r . being the southeastern corner of Section 22, TIS,, R1E; thence Northerly } ralong the eastern line of said Section 22 to the northeastern corner thereof; j thence Westerly along the northern line of Sections 22, 21 and 24, TIS, RIE, 4 to the north quarter corner of said Section 20, being a point on the eastern boundary of the Danville Fire District; thence Southerly along the eastern � + boundary lines of thea Danville and San Ramon Fire Districts and along the i, eastern bot4ndary of the Valley Community Services District to the southerly boundary of Contra Cost& County; thence Northeasterly along the southerly boundary of Contra Costa County to the point of beginning.• f , BXI-111BIT "All r t ttf y 1 Z '1 4 i ? 59 ' a iY
